Lavender Shortbread Cookies

These cookies did not work that well with cookie molds, and details did not appear clearly after baking. However taste and texture of cookies were unique; rustic, countryside style cookie with surprising taste.


110 g of sugar
200 g butter
265 g coarse wheat flour
1 tablespoon dried lavender flowers

Best way to avoid lavender getting dusted to ash is mix it with sugar, sieve it, and add lavenders in dough after beating sugar and butter.

Whip at room temperature butter and sugar. Add the lavender and flour and mix with a wooden spoon until a suitable thickness. Cool the dough before shaping with cookie molds. 

This recipe is better for normal cookies than cookie mold cookies.
